The Port Douglas Under 16s eagerly took the field last Friday night against Cairns Saints after a couple of weeks break.

The first quarter was intense with the backline under enormous pressure the whole time, and to their credit, the boys worked hard.
 
The second quarter saw the Crocs come out fighting and their intensity and endeavour was high. They led well and played tough, man-on-man footy. Their hard work saw them outscore the Saints three goals to one.
 
By the third quarter the pressure from the opposition started to take its toll, but the boys never gave up hope. The talk amongst the team was supportive. The boys eventually went down 56 points to 27.
