Tell us your secrets and win!

Now that we've made you click, we need your help (don't roll your eyes).

Port Douglas Magazine's 'Must See, Must Do' is one of the most popular features for visitors in our region, providing them with ways they can spend their time so they can return home with great memories, and the desire to return.

Over 10 editions of the magazine, dozens of incredible experiences have been suggested, but now the creators of the mag would like you to share your secrets - where should visitors go (be nice) and what should they do (be nicer) to make their holiday in Tropical Australia special?

Give us your suggestions in the Have Your Say section below. The best, most unique suggestion will win a Ngadiku Dreamtime Walk family pass (2 adults, 2 children valued at $125) thanks to Mossman
Gorge Centre (a must do in its own right).

Here are just a few that have been published in Issue 10 of the Port Douglas Magazine, out now.

IN PORT DOUGLAS

  • Take a walk along Four Mile Beach at sunrise and experience the magic as the day says hello.
  • Starting at the Court House Museum, take a fascinating journey back in time on the Heritage Walk around Port Douglas fully illustrated with information photo posts.
  • Book a round of golf. You have three superb golf courses from which to choose. Mirage Country Club, Palmer Sea Reef Golf Club and Mossman Golf course.
  • You simply must go Cane Toad Racing at the Iron Bar on Macrossan Street.  Kiss your toad and watch them turn into lots of prizes!
  • Visit Port Douglas cotters market in Anzac Park on any Sunday morning.  Packed with local and homemade clothes, jewellery, crafts, souvenirs and fresh produce.
  • Turn into a trivia buff and join the locals for a trivia night for some brain teasing.  Ask a local for the latest location and start times.

OUT OF PORT DOUGLAS

  • Drive up to the newly opened Mossman Gorge Centre and enjoy the full interpretive tour with guided rainforest dream walks. Just 15 minutes from Port Douglas
  • Take the family and go exploring with a hi-tech treasure hunt of the region’s many geocaches.
  • Visit the Atherton Tablelands for its temperate climate, the monthly Yungaburra Market, lakes district and spectacular Tinaroo Dam.
  • Take a Daintree River cruise and wonder at unique flora and fauna on the riverbanks of the world’s most ancient rainforest.
  • Take a drive or book a guided tour through the ancient rainforest to Cape Tribulation across the Daintree River via the iconic car ferry.
  • Returning from the Daintree, stop at the Floravilla Ice Cream Factory at Cow Bay for a tropically inspired ice cream or exotic fruits at Scomazzon’s market garden opposite Mossman Golf Club.

Okay, now it's over to you. We’ll choose a winner at the end of next week.
