Stars to coach at Junior Basketball sign on
There's a whole heap of excitement building for this weeks Douglas Heat Junior basketball sign-on with the news that a bunch of special guests and stars are going to be here.
Cam Gliddon, 24 year old, NBL Rookie of the Year from the Cairns Taipans is just one of three big names coming to help coach the fledgling club and it's inaugural junior signings.
WNBL Coach of the Year and CEO of Cairns Basketball, David Herbert is also coming and bringing with him Myra Donkin, Cairns Lady Dolphins Point Guard. So all parts of the court are covered.
Club Mentor Steve Hull, says, "This is a great coup for our club and we encourage everyone to come along and have a look as our kids are put through their paces".
The sign-on is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday 24th April at 3.30pm @ the Port Douglas cyclone shelter at Port Douglas State School.
