Man dies after driving off ferry
A 62 year-old Mossman man has died after driving off the Daintree Ferry at around 12.20am this morning.
Forensic Crash Investigators, Police Scene of Crime group, Water Police, Maritime Safety Queensland, and Workplace Health and Safety officers are currently at the scene to determine the cause of the crash.
It is believed the man, whose name has not been released, drove his white Toyota Camry across on the ferry at 8.30pm last night. Police are seeking information on a second man they believe accompanied the deceased on this initial trip, and their activities in the four hours preceding the accident.

There are likely to be disruptions to the Daintree River ferry service throughout today. Intermittent delays are expected and motorists are asked to factor this into their travel time.
