Blues to bag Pies in Round 2

Michael Malthouse will put emotions to one side as his new Carlton outfit look to overcome a premiership favourite in Collingwood.

The AFL now has Round 1 under its belt and once again anyone who knew anything about footy was lucky to tip half correctly.

My Lions got a touch up by the Doggies and Ablett for the Gold Coast was terrific in upsetting the Saints.

This round all the talk is about the Blues versus the Pies and there’s no doubt it will be a highly scrutinised game by all and sundry. The behind the scenes banter between the coaches I think is being won by Buckley right now.

Malthouse in the media last season was quick to point out how Collingwood had become all about Bucks and there was way too much pressure on him. Leading into this game Buckley has quietly pointed out who this Round 2 clash is about - "I feel for Mick, it’s all about him."

Collingwood should get this one but I’m gonna go against the flow – Blues by 9 in a beauty!

Here are the rest of my tips for Round 2:

Richmond by 40
Sydney by 35
Freo by 20
Lions by 2
Port by 22
Ess by 60
Geelong by 14
Hawks by 8
