New faces expected at Chamber AGM
The makeup of the Port Douglas Chamber of Commerce will be determined at their AGM tonight, and it is expected some new faces may take a position on the committee.
The Chamber has sent out the message that they are looking for new blood to help reinvigorate the organisation, with long-time president Ken Dobbs expected to step down from the position.
Nominations can be accepted right up until commencement of the meeting, however, the nominee, proposer and seconder must be financial members of the Chamber at the time of the meeting.
You look like you've got something to say? Why not write a Letter to the Editor?
Nominations may be called from the floor at the meeting if there are insufficient nominations received prior to the meeting.
