Dancing snakes love TV drama

A fan of Downton Abbey living in Julatten near Port Douglas had unexpected guests recently when two pythons found their way inside the family home.

But what happened next was totally unexpected.

Rather than finding a nice warm corner to curl up in, the snakes propped themselves in front of the television, raised their heads for a better view of the British costume drama, and remained in that position for more than two hours.

According to a friend who posted this photo on Facebook (check out the pythons in the bottom right corner) the snakes were "dancing to the music".
