The Under 16 Reef Raiders had a hard fought win over Barron on Friday night winning 7-5.

With Barron scoring halfway through the first half and not converting, it took until ten minutes remaining in the match before Brady McFarlane pushed his way through the defence, scoring under the posts making it an easy conversion to take the lead.

Port held off many raids by Barron with outstanding cover defence and strength on their own line.

The team worked well together with all players stepping up both in defence and attack.  Best back for the game went to Keelan Warrick, best forward was Logan Hogarth, and player of the day went to Brady McFarlane.
