Mossman’s Classic Fours tournament was a great success with 12 teams playing five games over the weekend at Mossman Memorial Bowls Club.

The winners were Edge Hill with the assistance of one Mossman player. In second place was Mareeba and in third place was team consisting of two players from Mossman and two from Marlin Coast.

The players, who came from near and far, praised the club for hosting such an excellent weekend.

A reminder that social Jackpot bowls resume next Saturday with registrations closing at 12.30pm and games commencing at 1.30.

Commencing on Thursday 1 November will be night bare foot bowls. Anyone interested is encouraged to get your friends and work mates together and form a team.

Club bowlers are required for the evening so please register with Bernie Wolland on 0448 060 477.

Bowls will be from 6 pm till 8.30pm from 1 November until 6th December. Don’t miss out on a fun evening.
