Here's an interesting little fact that was discovered in the offices of The Newsport yesterday - we had our first reader in Mongolia!

Soon after yesterday's 'Connect' (the weekly email Newsport snapshot sent to almost 10,000 subscribers worldwide), Google Analytics picked up a reader from Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia.

While Ulaanbaatar, the country's largest city with just over 1 million people, couldn't be any more different from our corner of the world, the internet proves people from the far reaches of the globe (at that exact time there were readers in London, Auckland, and along the east coast of Australia) can still find common ground - in this instance it was what has been making news the Douglas region.
