Men’s Results

Another great afternoon of entertainment was had by all in social bowls on Saturday.  R Edwards, Dick Pitt and P Cleary def. J Prammer, L Valentine and D Blain 25-18, A Christie, G Marsh and E Smith def. P Morrison, D Wilmot and The Kiwi 21-13 and the big winners were G Bolton and S Jellis who defeated Zilly and P Gorsuch 32-9.

A reminder for players of the threes finals that the game should be scheduled ASAP at the request of the Games Director.

Next Saturday will be social Jackpot bowls as usual starting at 1.30pm with registration due by 12.30.

Ladies Results

Twenty four ladies had a most enjoyable day for Patron’s Day. The winners were; Dorothy Slater won the spider, Maree Crees, Carmen Bolton and Val Franzi were the winners with +7. Second went to Denise Highland and Dot Kostyrka with +6 and Maureen Tucker, Margaret Cooper and Dorothy Slater took out third place. The Encouragement award went to Janice Brlyack, Estelle O’Rourke and Val Robinson.

The raffle was won by Dot Kostyrka.

The final game of the B grade singles will be played today, weather permitting, between Carole Maxted and Dot Kostyrka. Selectors for this month are Carole Maxted and Maree Crees.
