Men’s Results

It was a great turnout for Cancer Research day on Saturday with full rinks of social doubles competition.

G Bolton and P Gorsuch def. Zilly and J Girgenti 18-17, J Maxwell and T Pitt def. K Pitt and C Maxted 22-20, S Chatterton and C Wills def. S Renton and P Cleary 23-21.

Morrie and B Wolland def. Dick Pitt and R Darcy 23-21, R Williams and E Verbi def. N Tesch and Kiwi 20-16, L Valentine and D Blain def. T Pisot and S Jellis 33-14.

The winners of the day were C Andreassen and J Bull who defeated D Head and B Gard 43-10.

In Sunday's singles competition, B Wolland defeated D Egan in A Grade while in the handicaps G Bolton def. N Tesch, D Blain def. S Parkes and R Gard Def. R Pitt.

On Saturday championship fours will be played between T Brylack, J Girgenti, J Sellars and S Parkes who play C Maxted, Kiwi, C Andreassen and P Janssen.

Championship threes will be played between R Ashford, R Pitt, and a replacement who will play N Tesch, R Edwards and A Christie.

On Sunday singles games will be B Grade championships between G Wilmot and N Tesch, R Ashford and S Parkes.

Ladies Results

Bowls was washed out and will be replayed today weather permitting.

Games are Jan Gard verses Val Sharpe, Maree Crees verses Estelle O’Rourke and Carmen Bolton verses Margaret Cooper.

Social bowls will also be played. Maree Crees won the raffle. Please note that all names, being social or comp are to be in by 12.30 pm please.
