Men’s Results
 
Men’s bowls were in full swing on the weekend with both championship and social competitions.

In social Jackpot bowls on Saturday,  Dick Pitt, J Sellars, P Cleary and D Egan defeated R Edwards, C Wills, D Blain and B Wolland 26-21.

G Marsh, G Bolton, Kiwi and T Brylack defeated R Williamson, K Pitt, T Pitt and C Maxted 24-17. 

The winners of the day were S Chatterton, A Boyd, T Pisot and Zilly who took home the meat trays with a 36-10 win over P Morrison, B Barabas, S Jellis and P Gorsych.
 
On Sunday B Wolland defeated R Gard in a close A Grade singles game while J Sellars defeated R Edwards in B Grade singles.
 
Next weekend will be Pennants with A Grade teams playing in Malanda and B Grade in Mossman.

Our A grade teams will be D Egan, Doug Pitt, P Cleary and J Sellars, B Wolland, D Blain, N Tesch and C Wills.

B grade teams are C Maxted, R Ashford, K Pitt and R Williamson, and T Brylack, Kiwi, G Bolton and G Marsh.

Reserves are G Willmont, S Chatterton, B Barabas, R Edwards, Ryan Pitt and R Gard. We wish all teams the best of luck and happy bowling.
 
Ladies Results
 
A full field of 48 ladies played the Thema Moss day with our local ladies doing very well.

Championship singles were played with Margaret Cooper (26) defeating Carole Maxted (9) and Janice Brlyack (26) defeating Jan Gard (20). Margaret and Janice will now play off for the title.
 
Social bowls was also played with Maree Crees’ team coming in winners. Janice Brlyack’s team were second and team Highland took third place.

The raffle winner was Kaye Dean and the Consistency draw in on the noticeboard.
