Magic will be happening at the Cairns Civic Theatre in June and families are urged to grasp the opportunity to be transported into a wonderful world of fantasy and fun.

The Roald Dahl classic “James and the Giant Peach” is a delightful production which will capture young and old alike. 

The story has been adapted for the stage by writer, performer and magician David Wood and is performed by an effervescent cast who embrace the characters they play. 

With vibrant costumes, outrageous songs and interactive audience participation the “surprisings” of the show are breathtaking.

A special show time of 11.30am on Saturday 16 June has been included for regional families in a bid to ensure that everyone in FNQ has the opportunity to experience the magic of the Playing with Snails performance of Roald Dahl’s “James & the Giant Peach”.
