Junior Crocs back in action
Footy's back with the first game of the season for the Junior Crocs AFL teams starting this weekend.
The Under 8s through to the Under 14s will head to Holloways Beach Sporting Complex this Sunday in an attempt to get off to a flying start in 2012.
The Under 16s season begins next Friday 16 March on the manicured surface of Cazaly's Stadium in Cairns.
The club is still seeking an Under 10s coach, and new players are always welcome with training held every Thursday at the Port Douglas Community Sports Complex from 4pm to 5pm, while the Under 14s and 16s also train on Tuesdays.
Knowing the importance of a strong junior brigade of players to the future of their senior squad, the Crocs are also keen to bolster the ranks of their Under 18s team.
"Not many Under 18s have come along to training as yet and it is hoped they will contact Coach Trevor Mandersloot of their availabilty this season," said the Crocs' Kylie Cox.
If you'd like to get involved as a player or support staff, contact the club via their website.
