Focus Feature - Hi five for Hi Tide

About 50 guests were warmly welcomed to the launch of Hi Tide Restaurant's new menu last Saturday evening.

Despite a brisk sea breeze, perhaps ordered a little over zealously for the evening according to Restaurant Manager Jeremy Parer, the invited guests were treated to a series of excellent entrée taster platters and a selection of main dishes to represent the new menu.

The new menu was especially created and designed by Head Chef Michael Davis and his team to complement the superb location and ambience of this little ‘gem’ by the sea!

The complete 2012 menu is listed on their website and is enhanced each day by a ‘Chefs Specials’ option.  Of course, over and above the new menu, Hi Tide are continuing to host their popular theme nights with Seafood night on Tuesdays, the almost iconic Curry Night on Wednesdays, Surf and Turf on Thursdays and let’s not forget the perfect way to end the weekend with their Fish and Chips night.

Restaurant Manager Jeremy Parer said, ‘There’s never been such a wide choice. And with the themed evenings, our Chef has set a high standard.”

Owner Sheryn Blundstone told The Newsport, “The team has done a fantastic job in preparing this years’ menu.  We’ve had a really good 2012 so far and we’re looking forward to welcoming both our visitors and locals right through the year to enjoy our exciting and affordable new menu.”

There’s something very relaxing about Hi Tide.  The blend of beach views, (usually gentle) sea breeze and attentive and knowledgeable staff makes for a very pleasant atmosphere, whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Once described as the locals ‘best kept secret’, Hi Tide with it’s unique location and well thought out wine list to complement this fresh new menu, is very likely to lose that ‘tag’ and find it is replaced by one such as ‘The locals favourite’.

Open from 7am ‘til late, Hi Tide should be on your ‘must do’ list.
