Crocs players back from injury

Welcome to another Presidents Report. Well it was great to have a week away from football and freshen up a few sore bodies.

I headed off with Rob Barnett, Ernie Baxter and Greg Nicholson to Lakefield in the hunt for a few Barra. Not a lot of luck but we did sort out the world’s problems and empty an esky or two.

The rep game has come and gone, and speaking to coach Andy Viola he said bigger bodies were the difference. Weary was the pick of our players.

It sounds a bit like the Crocs at the moment. In saying that this week we should welcome back Skip, Luke, Dylan, Kane and several other players who have recovered from injury.

When we played Saints two weeks ago we had 23 players missing from the same match earlier this year. I thought it was one of our better efforts for the year with all players tackling and hard hits a massive improvement from the games earlier this year.

The ladies day luncheon is only two weeks away and it should be big day with Crocs in Frocks beauty pageant on that night. It is a don't miss day as I believe we are ready to start stringing a few wins together.

Mitch Nicholson who has been a great junior and senior footballer at our club went in to have a knee reconstruction this week and our thoughts are with him in his recovery.

Well excitement plus as Collingwood has hit town and were at training on Tuesday night. They assure me they will be at Thursday training.

Come down and have meal Thursday should be a big night.

This Saturday we play Hawks at Cazaly’s, I think we will give it a good shake so make the trip and support the boys.

Our thoughts go out to head trainer Robyn Frahn who is in Adelaide looking after her sick mum.

Look forward to talking soon.
