Gold Coast SUNS in Port Douglas

The Gold Coast SUNS AFL club are reportedly staying in Port Douglas ahead of their clash with Richmond at Cazalys Stadium in Cairns on Saturday.

The SUNS will hope the Port Douglas air will get them on the winners' list for the first time on 2012, and would enjoy a repeat of 2011s match against Richmond in Cairns when they beat the Tigers by 15 points.

The SUNS are the second AFL team to stay in Port Douglas this season with the Collingwood Football Club using their mid-season break as an opportunity to escape the southern winter conditions.
