Everything from Something

Something Tropical, one of four stores previously owned by business man Doug Calvert, will come alive again under new management.

John Dowell owner of Tropical Seashores, a gift and souvenirs shop also in Macrossan Street, will expand his operation in the vacant building and will rename the store 'Everything Tropical.'

Mr Dowell told The Newsport he hopes the new venture will be operational by this weekend to take advantage of the influx of tourists the town is currently experiencing.
