Driver activity raises suspicions

Port Douglas and Mossman Police are asking for public assistance after a driver was seen acting suspiciously on two separate occasions recently.

There are concerns that the driver of a black ute, reportedly in his early 30s, of aboriginal descent, and with a "distinctive squint in his right eye" could attempt to abduct a child, however Police are asking residents to remain calm and simply provide information directly to them.

Anyone with information should call Port Douglas Police on 4087 1999 or Mossman CIB on 4098 2180.
