Crocs’ President’s report with Andy Smith

Here’s an update to keep you all abreast with what’s happening down at the Croc pit.

Training under new coach, Brad Cooper, is going well with good attendances.
We have several new recruits arriving in the next couple of weeks, so keep your eyes open for any work available.

Over the past couple of weeks, the committee has been working hard signing up our 2012 sponsors.  They include our major sponsors The Courthouse Hotel, Mossman Butchery, Four Mile Seafood, Rattle ‘N’ Hum, Hogs Breath Cafe, Craig Bannister Computers, Mossman Golf Club, Douglas Pest Control, Mark Fletcher, Sun Palm, Barney McBride, Salsa Bar and Grill, Exclusive Spa Group Australia and Cornetts IGA.

We would also like to welcome newcomers Port BBQ Chicken in Macrossan Street, the Barrier Reef Tavern at Four Mile, Ramada Resort and Paddy’s Bar.
Without the enormous support from the above sponsors our club would cease to exist.

I ask all our members to not only shop at our sponsor’s locations, but show your appreciation by saying thanks.

We will also be announcing the venue for our popular 200 Club sign-up and sponsors day shortly.

I look forward to our first hit-out in mid-March for the AFL Cairns Pre-season Cup at Cazaly’s. AFL Cairns has announced the first round of matches will be played on March 17, with the final on March 24, as a curtain-raiser to the AFL Cairns women’s grand final.
