There were two close games of championship fours played last week with Estelle O’Rourke and Bev Zillfleisch (22) defeating Marie Crees and Carman Bolton (20) in a thriller.

Kay McDonald and Sonia Edwards (22) defeated Glenys Sharp and Glen Lepp who was a sub (15). Estelle and Bev will now play Kay and Sonia in the final on Thursday 23 February if weather permits.

Val Robinson and Judy Maxwell defeated Carole Maxted and Greta Kessler in social bowls and Judy Maxwell was the delighted raffle winner.

Games are on the board for championship fours to start on 1 March.
