The Under 16 Douglas Muddies played a one dayer against Barron River after the first weekend was cancelled due to the pitch resembling mud.
Captain Kaiden Sorensen won the toss and elected to bowl. Kaiden opened the bowling and clean bowled the opening batter with his third ball.
The first six bowlers kept it tight to have Barron at 1 for 13 after 11 overs. Sean Evans came in to bowl and took a wicket with his fourth ball helped by a catch to wicket-keeper Ethan McCullough.
Ashley Davison took the next wicket with a catch to Ethan, followed by Michael Schulz clean bowling their top run scorer. In the next over Kaiden Sorensen took his second wicket before Tom Goodall took his first wicket of the day leaving Barron at 6 out for 80 off 32 overs.
