The course at Mossman was in great condition for last Tuesday’s Medal of Medals with Brett Jurie taking the honours.  

The competition was won by Ian Johnson with 68 nett ahead of John Carney with 69 and Steve Warden 70. Nearest the pins were Russell Watkins on 6, Barry Brims on 8, Tano Caltabiano on 10, Brendon Wood on 13 and Phil Holloway on 17.

The winner of last Wednesday’s nine hole event was Helen Gabour with 23 points, second place Matty Smith 21 on a count-back to Wayne Christensen. Nearest the pin was Maurie Meth.

Thursday’s Ladies Four Ball Best Ball was won by Gayle Healey and Fran Coveny with 46 points on a count-back to Narelle Johnson and Cheryl Revell. Nearest the pins were Leonie Phillips on 6, Cheryl on 8, Kerri-Lynn Williams on 10, Emma Carney on 13 and Gayle on 17.

The winner of the Friday Frolic was Greg Walker 19 points for 9 holes.

Perfect weather conditions on Saturday provided the Four Ball Ambrose players with great scoring.  Winners of the hams were Matty Coulthard, Dan Coulthard , Elijah Boon and Zac Hore, ahead of Peter  
Chrisfield, Rosie Scally, Des and Patti Graham.

Nearest the pins were Mick Lancaster on 6, Harvey Ashton on 8, Peter on 10, Barry Brims on 13 and Dan Coulthard (great shot to 15cm) on 17.

The Ladies nearest the pins were Bev Cowe on 6, Glenda Christensen on 10 and 17.

Kerri-Lynn Williams with 36 points enjoyed her win on Sunday in the Stableford Event.
