Men’s Results

The special events continued on Saturday with a hugely successful Waugh & Dwyer/Autopro day. Many new faces made up the 52 players for a tremendously entertaining afternoon of competition.

In the closest game of the day K Walker, G Fasano, P Morrison and S Jellis def. Hock Jnr, C Kachel, T Pisot and N Tesch 19-18, followed by B Clarke, D Goode, Dick Pitt and Kiwi who defeated J Dwyer, P Lancaster, L Valentine and D Blain 24-16.

R Guest, M Lancaster, G Marsh and E Smith def. M Plummer, J Blain, S Chatterton and P Cleary 24-18, B Wood, C Dwyer and G Royal def. J Dwyer, Ted Pitt and D Egan 17-10, S Gamble, Colt Pitt, A  Christie and Doug Pitt def. B Barabas, A Bone, G Bolton and Zilly 29-18, while second place and the Turkeys went to P Meggs, G McKenzie, B Ashford and B Wolland who defeated P White C Andreassen, B Hando and P Gorsuch 29-14.

The big winners were B McKechnie, R Bainbridge, G Wilmot and C Maxted who ran off with hams after defeating the consolation prize winners J Bremer, A Boundy, R Edwards and C Wills who took home the chooks after being beaten 29-14.
 
Next Saturday caps off the pre-Christmas carnival with the presentation afternoon following Jackpot Bowls. Play commences at 1.30pm with registrations closing at 12.30pm.

In addition to the usual jackpots, raffles and prizes, refreshments will be available for players after the presentations so come along and don’t miss out.

Ladies Results

A fun afternoon was held prior to the Ladies Presentations. Bev Zillfleisch, Val Sharpe and Clair Holloway winning the day. The Spider was won by Bev Zillfleisch, Lucky Door went to Kaye Dean and the raffle was won by Honey Coysh.
