Douglas Junior Netball started finals this week, but the rain interrupted so the 10s games did not go ahead due to a safety risk for the young players. They'll play their last games for the season next week.

The Diamonds' attacking players stepped up in the third quarter with some swift passing, taking the ball to the shooters who shot 5-1.  The Poison Apples played a fantastic game against the Diamonds and they rallied in the last quarter shooting 4 goals with some brilliant defence and very good work through the centre third.

The Miallo Allstars played the Red Hot Peppers on Court 2, and the Allstars started strongly in the first quarter shooting 3 goals to nil. But the Peppers were not laying down shooting the next 3.

Savaanah Scott was strong through the centre, intercepting and driving the ball down to goals with young star Jennifer Bellero fantastic in defence as keeper.

The Allstars, with talented player Matilda Mellows not playing this week, continued their great form with Leah Nash and Krystal Schultz stepping up for the team in a fantastic, close game.  Final score 9-6 to the Allstars.
