DNA Grand Finalists locked in

Round 2 of the Douglas Netball Association semi finals sent successful teams straight to the Senior Grand Final next Tuesday.
 
Rattle N Hum and the defending 2011 winners Centrals Cougars competed fiercely for their spot in the Division 1 Grand Final, and Central Cougars emerged victorious with a 26-15 win.

Rattle N Hum finish third on the ladder, a successful season for the team. Best and Fairest was awarded to the Central Cougars' midcourt, Danni Bellero. Well done Danni.

Umpires for the Division 1 match commented it was a “strong game by all Cougars. They were worthy winners.”

The Central Cougars will face off against Young Guns next week in the Grand Final in an attempt to maintain their title as winners of Division 1 netball.

Division 2 teams Crocs 2 and Ring Ins competed for their place in the Grand Final, and Ring Ins came out on top with a comfortable margin of 36-11.

Players' choice was awarded to Ring Ins' Lou Bradley and Crocs 2’s Liz Archbold. Crocs 2 finished the season third on the ladder, with their Division 1 team, Crocs 1, just behind them in fourth.

Congratulations Crocs 1 and 2 on your efforts this season.

Ring Ins are successfully through to the Grand Final where they will play Jets for their chance to become the Division 2 champions.
 
The Wolverines successfully made it to the Division 3 Grand Final after defeating Breakers 21-13.

A close game for the first two quarters kept spectators excited. Wolverines, however, outscoring Breakers in the last two quarters earning them their well deserved victory.

Congratulations to Breakers for making the semi finals and their successful season in Division 3. The Wolverines will now play Reptos in the Division 3 Grand Final.
