An Ordinary Meeting of Cairns Regional Council is to be held on Wednesday 22 August in Mossman. The meeting will be held at the Council Chambers, located at 64-66 Front Street, Mossman, at 10am.

All members of the public are invited to attend.

Agenda items for the meeting is available on Council’s website (www.cairns.qld.gov.au) by close of business this Friday, August 17.

Div 10 Clr Julia Leu said "I encourage everyone to come to this meeting. There are usually two full meetings a year in Mossman but because the election in May interrupted the calendar, this meeting will be the only one this year in Mossman. The deadline for official deputations was in fact at close of business yesterday evening Thursday 16th but if any individuals, organisations and businesses would like to contact me direct, I'll see what can be done to include them forthis one-off meeting next Wednesday"

After the meeting all the councillors will be taking a guided tour of the Mossman depot as part of a continuing progamme to meet staff and better understand the organisation of and activities in all the local depots around the Cairns region.
