Get your thinking caps on - Dance Addict Dancewear & Costume Hire, the colourful costume shop in Mossman, is looking for a new name and there is $250 in prizes up for grabs for the best suggestions.

Shop owner Prue Borzi is running a competition through the store's Facebook page and already there have been a number of creative entries all vying for the first prize - a $200 store voucher.

And with Halloween just around the corner there is no better time to have that prize in your sky rocket.

"I'm going to have lots of novelty things flashing fingers and latex masks and glow in the dark makeup - everything from vampire fangs and werewolf costumes," Prue said.

"The winner will be able to get themselves dressed up for Halloween."
