Men’s Results
 
Men’s bowls were in full swing on the weekend despite less than ideal conditions and the holiday period.

In a full day on Saturday, championship threes competition saw C.Pitt, J.Sellars and Doug Pitt defeat G.Bolton, B.Gard and B.Wolland 23-17 while K Pitt, C.Andreassen and C.Maxted defeated S.Renton, Zilly and D.Blain 30-21.
 
In social events, R.Pitt, T.Pitt and C.Wills defeated J.Maxwell, B.Barabas and P.Gorsuch 19-15 while R.Williams, T.Pisot and P.Cleary defeated P.Morrison, Dick Pitt and J.Girgenti 23-16.

The winners of the days’ meat tray were S.Chatterton, G.Marsh and T.Brylack who smashed A.Christie, G.Wilmot and Kiwi 38-11.
 
On Sunday, the handicap B grade singles game was won by S.Chatterton who showed his form against C.Wills with a 25-21 win. In B grade singles, B.Gard defeated A.Christie in a close game while in the A grade another close competition saw D.Egan defeat T.Brylack.
 
Next Saturday, K.Pitt and S.Chatterton vs P.Ceary and R.Edwards, J.Girgenti and G.Wilmot vs P.Jenssen and G.Bolton, T.Pisot and J.Sellars vs Kiwi and Ryan Pitt in the pairs.
 
A Grade singles on Sunday will see B.Wolland vs G.Banks. B grade singles will see J.Sellars vs R.Edwards, G Wilmot vs N.Tesch and C.Wills vs R.Gard. In the handicap singles S.Renton vs G.Marsh and Doug Pitt vs P.Cleary.
 
Ladies Results
 
The Mona Carson Day was washed out again and will be replayed on a date to be fixed.

Last week’s championship singles were Greta Kessler defeated Val Robinson 25 – 8, Zina Girgenti defeated Estelle O’Rourke 25 – 16 and Carole Maxted defeated Bev Zillfleisch 25 – 23. The raffle winner was Maree Crees.
 
This week's games are Jan Gard verses Judy Maxwell with Val Robinson marking, Greta Kessler verses Janice Brlyack with Greta Burke marking, Margaret Cooper verses Maree Crees with Kaye Dean marking, Carole Maxted verses Zina Girgenti with Sonia Edwards marking.
