Men of League race day
UPDATE 12/4/12 2.25pm
Unfortunately, due to the recent wet weather in the Cairns region, and the subsequent decision made this morning by Cairns Jockey Club to move this weekend's racing to Mareeba, the FNQ Men of League Race Day event for this Saturday at Cannon Park has now been postponed.
All those with tickets should hold on to them until the event is re-arranged.
For further details, contact FNQ Men of League's John McAllister on 0411 752 391. If your enquiry is about the change in race venue, please contact the Cairns Jockey Club.
Gallop into the 2012 Cairns racing season and help raise money for a good cause, by attending the Men of League Race Day this Saturday (14 April) at Cannon Park.
The Far North Queensland Men of League Branch invites everyone to the Cairns racecourse for their charity race day, which is supported by Northern Pride.
The day includes a three-hour beverage package (beer, wine, champagne), finger food, cash bar available, plus interviews, raffles, a money wheel, and a schooner race.
Special guests include former State of Origin great Tony Currie, ex-Kangaroos captain Greg Veivers, and Robbo from the Footy Show, who will be MC.
Money raised from the day will be donated to Cairns boy Jonno Cattel and his family, to help Jonno save enough for a second round of surgery on a brain tumour.
Invite your friends and family along for just $75 per person. The day includes:
Five local races
Bookie and TAB
Live entertainment.
General admission is only $10.
