MBS delivers ultimatum

Unify or suffer the consequences. That was the ultimatum delivered by the Melbourne Business School at a presentation of their 'Revitalise Port Douglas' project findings at the Port Douglas Community Centre on Saturday.

But the finished report will not be released to the public for around two weeks as the steering committee, made up of representatives of various Port Douglas business and community groups, digests the content.

A member of the public at the meeting raised concerns that the report may be edited by the committee prior to its release, however these were dismissed with the group saying there was nothing to hide, and that the time was needed to review the details of the report and seek clarification from the MBS if necessary.

The Newsport will bring you full details of the meeting tomorrow.
