Catch a glimpse of Line Burner TV
Line Burner's DVDs have been keeping avid anglers entertained with some incredible fishing footage, and now executive producer Lynton Heffer has secured a 10-part TV series to air later this year.
Pay TV providers Foxtel and Austar have taken the bait, seeing the opportunities of what Mr Heffer describes as "the first ever national TV series to be produced fully from Far North Queensland."
"It was always in the pipeline to move on from the DVDs," Mr Heffer said. "We approached them (Foxtel/Austar) and the ball has rolled from there."

With filming for the series almost completed, what can we expect from the show?
"The show entails game fishing for big black marlin, reef fishing, light tackle fishing, beach fishing, river fishing, mud crabbing, outdoor camping and 4WD trips and much more," Mr Heffer said.
"Just don’t expect your stock standard fishing program as Line Burner has its own distinct personality.

"We won't have a presenter as such, we want to hear straight from the horse's mouth, and from the locals and the people we're filming. They're the experts, they're the ones we want to be hearing from.
Some familiar faces to get in front of the camera include Steve Adamson, Brett Goetze, Damian Colette, and 'Sharky' Shane Down.
The series is expected to commence in August, but check out glimpses of the show on the videos (left) or visit the Line Burner website.
