Go Troppo Arts Festival has been held during the full moon in October for the past three years, becoming an established event in the calendar of Port Douglas and Mossman.

Comprising up to fifteen separate arts events in addition to specialised arts workshops, this highly successful multi-arts festival, held over ten days, has showcased local artistic talent and entertained thousands of locals and visitors.

Unfortunately, due to lack of funds, hard working voluntary organisers have been forced to cancel it for 2011.

The plan is to revive the festival and take it to greater heights in 2012 by engaging experienced staff to develop and implement a business case that will take the festival to the next level on its journey to becoming an international attraction for the region.
