The North Queensland Surf Life Saving Branch Championships were held at Etty Bay over the weekend. 

Competition was fierce with medals being awarded to the top three place-getters.  Port Douglas performed well and took their fair share of the medals on offer. 

The highlight of the carnival was the All Age Relay where the Port team of Oliver Lukin, Ethan Pedemay, Derek Sorensen, Mia Devine-Cameron, Harry Goodman, Simon Kramer, Matthew Quinn, Cahil Rankin, Tom Richardson, Nick Goodman, Luke Humphries Op Zeeland and Brian Markham, claimed the silver medal.
