The Mossman Memorial Bowls Club held their Men’s AGM on Sunday with a new Committee being appointed to take them into 2012.

The new Committee comprises of the following members:

President – David Egan, Vice President – John Hocking, Patron – Joe Girgenti, Secretary – Peter Cleary, Games Director and Men’s Delegate– Neville Tesch, Men’s Management Committee Rep – Colt Dwyer, Press Secretary – Andy Christie, Selectors – Rod Parks, Graham Marsh, Stuart Chatterton and Col Maxted.

Saturday’s Jackpot Bowls were won by D.Pitt, N.Tesch, and R.Parks who defeated G.Marsh, T.Pisot, and J.Girgenti 30 – 20.
M.Bundy, G.Zilly, and J.Hocking defeated B.Hando, D.Beaumont, and D.Blain 15-23.
A.Douglas, C.Wills, and D.Pitt defeated C.Andreassen, G.Wilmot and D.Egan 26 – 16.

The winners of the day taking home the meat tray were S.Chatterton, C.Dwyer and C.Maxted who defeated A.Cooper, P.Cleary and B.Gard 28-17.
 
Some fun and exciting days are ahead with Christmas fast approaching. This Saturday is Waugh and Dwyer - Autopro Ham day. It will be a 1pm start so names should be in by midday.

Mufti dress is optional. Visitors and first timers are invited so bring your friends along for a really enjoyable afternoon.

In future weeks we have Bunn and Balshaw Ham day on 10 December and Club Presentation day on 17 December.

Ladies Results

Unfortunately the Ladies Patron’s Day was washed out but everyone enjoyed a sociable afternoon. Patron’s Day will now be Thursday 1 December and will be played as triples.
