The Tuesday men made the most of the good weather and long weekend with the biggest field for the year competing in the Stableford competition.

Geoff Parmenter snuck home with 38 points after a count back to Clint Kachel. Simon Nelson was third with 37 points. Nearest the pins went to Boof McDonald on 6, Steven Gray on 8, Brian Fields on 10, Art Howard on 13 and Parmenter on 17.

Kerri Williams was the best of the Thursday ladies scoring +2 in the versus par event. Julie Hooker finished in second place with +1 after a count back to Trish Landy. Nearest the pins were won by Shona Barbour on 6, Trish Landy on 13 and Lyn Heimann on 10 and 17.

A count back had to separate the Saturday ladies competition with Pris Freeman winning with 36 points ahead of Shona Barbour. Nearest the pins were Pris on 8, Shona on 10 and Lyn Heimann on 13.

James Doolah was unstoppable on Saturday scoring a mammoth 46 points to win the Men’s competition by seven shots. Steven Gray was second with 39 points after a count back to Ian Prewett.

Sunday saw the inaugural AFL vs NRL members challenge. The two ball ambrose event attracted 62 players with the final score locked at 8 matches each. A rematched is scheduled for later in the year.
