The 10/Under Diamonds played the Tigers on Court 1 this week in Junior netball.  The Diamonds continued their great form shooting 4 goals to 1 by half time.

Jaime Thurtell and Shannon Dwyer were excellent contributers for the Diamonds they moved well over the court and created plenty of play, for the Tigers Carla Young put in a great defence and young Dominique Lee up from Net Set Go is following in her sister's footsteps (Amelia Lee - Diamonds) and showing great skills.  Final score Diamands 10 def. Tigers 1. 

The Gladiators played the Saints the first quarter ended with a goal each, but the Gladiators found their feet and shot 3 goals to nil in the 2nd quarter, Kate Padovan played a great game in defence and Jay Heidke created opportunities for the Saints to run the ball down to goal.  The Gladiator's standout players were Allie Siebel and Sophie Kirk.  Final score Gladiators 6 def. Saints 2.
 
The 12/Under Competition saw Miallo 1 play the Panthers, the Miallo girls were in great form showing their experience as a team who have played together for a couple of seasons, Maddie Malone and Lana Baxter were excellent throughout the game, for the Panthers the ever reliable Savaanah Scott and Jade Read put in great performances.  Final score Miallo 30 def. Panthers 1.

The Allstars played the Crocs on court 2 in a great contest, the Crocs intercepted well and always had the pressure on their opponents, Jessica Viola was excellent in defence and Phoenix Scott-Spackman put in a great game.  The Allstars who are displaying great teamwork were strong throughout the game, Poppy Lawrence played great defence and Liana Pelegrinet shone in her position as wing attack.  Final score Allstars 17 def. Crocs 1. 

Court 3 saw the Magic play the Sparks, the Magic Team have proven to be very strong competitors Casilda Creek is fantastic in defence, she seems to be able to pluck a ball from meters in the air defying her height and Cian Dansken put in a great defensive game.  The Sparks played well but could not convert to goals, Cartier Bennet was fantasic through the game and played great defence and Tiah McLean gets in and attacks the ball with great determination.  Final score Magic 21 def. Sparks 1.
 
The 14/Under Competition started with the Judamalies playing the Dynamite, the Dynamite girls came out to play with Bronte Lowenstein-Jones shooting accurately for goal and moving well in the circle and Eleisha Mealing defending well.  The Judamalies although not scoring well made the  dynamite work hard for their win, Dakota Bowen rebounded well as goal keeper and was also
name best & fairest for the match,  Frankie Webster defended well.  Final score Dynamite 25 def. Judamalies 9.

The Vipers played the Under 12 Rep. team, the U12 reps shot the first goal and were 1 up in the first quarter but the Vipers found their  rhythm and quickly turned the game round.  For the Under 12 reps Jade Schuck put in a brilliant game reading the ball well and was fearless in intercepting against larger opponents, as with Maddie Malone for a small player she does not let the larger opposition stop her from getting the ball.  The Vipers showed some great team work and great play, Tayler Durie put in her consistent strong performance and Jeorgia Westgate is showing great dominance around the goal circle.  Final score Vipers 10 def. Under 12 Reps. 2.
