The Douglas Junior Netball competition started this week with the 10/Under Diamonds playing the Saints. The Diamonds showed their experience throughout the game with the whole team putting in a solid performance.

Stand out players this week were Amelia Lee and Kyah Francis. The Saints girls are improving week by week. Kate Padovan was excellent in defence and Jas Dodds played great netball for 4 quarters.  

Final score Diamonds 10 def. Saints 1.  

The Tigers played the Galdiators in a good display of netball. Logan Buzza excelled all over the court, and little Jade Deen made her debut to her team. The Tigers moving up from Net Set Go. Well done!   

The Gladiators with great plays by Allie Siebel and Sophee Watson were strong for 4 quarters.

Final score Gladiators 8 def. Tigers nil.
 
The 14/Under competition on Court 1 saw the Judamalies play the 12/Under Representative squad. The Judamalies were undermanned this week and thanks go to Bonnie Francis and Lily Wicks from the 12/Under Rep's for playing with them to make up numbers.  

Natalie Littler put in a strong centre performance and Frankie Webster showed great improvement being new to the game.

The 12/Under Rep's, with excellent passing and forward leading, moved the ball quickly to goal and after half time Jade Schuck, Sasha Lowenstein-Jones and Ellie Kadwell shot well for goals to finish with a good lead against the older team.

Final score 12/Under Rep's 15 def. Judamalies 9.  

The Violet Vipers played the Dynamite on Court 2 and in a closely contested game the Dynamite team led by 1 goal at half time. But the Vipers shot 5 goals to 4 in the 3rd quarter to level the score.

The Dynamite stepped up in the last quarter with accurate shooting by Bronte Lowenstein-Jones and Marley Cairns which saw the Dynamite come away with the win.  

Hayley Alexander and Tayler Durie for the Vipers both put in fantastic games to keep the pressure up on their opponents. 

Final score Dynamite 8 def. Violet Vipers 6.
 
The  12/Under competition was cancelled for this week but will recommence as per the draw next Tuesday at 4.45pm.
