Spaceship Man coming to Clink

The Clink Theatre in Port Douglas will soon host a comedy trio direct from the world renowned Adelaide Fringe Festival.

'Sound and Fury' is described as  a "vaudeville-nouveau trio, who present original comic genre-parody plays."

In 1996 they began to perform improvised sketches at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in San Bernardino before they began touring the world in 1998.

"Mad cap is an understatement! With a mix of always-funny and never offensive smutty talk and mad cap antics they cover topics as diverse as physics, mathematics, politics, and literature, to name a few," said Clink president Claire Tierney.

"You are never really sure whether what they have just said is scripted or completely improvised, and they thrive on feedback from their audience."

Sound and Fury have performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland, are currently at the Adelaide Australia Fringe Festival and have performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. This is their fifth Adelaide festival and their second time to Port Douglas.

Their new show "Spaceship Man" which they will be bringing to Port Douglas is a take on B-Movie Sci-Fi!

They will be performing at the Clink Theatre on Mowbray Street, Port Douglas on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 March. Tickets are on sale at Junction Café in Mossman, The Tour Desk Kiosk (outside Coles) in Port Douglas, and will be available at the door.
