The Newsport has moved

After more than a year of calling the Meridien Marina home, The Newsport crew have decided to pack our bags and enter a new phase of our operations.

As of last today we'll be calling Owen Street home (well technically the address is Shop 6, 50 Macrossan Street), directly opposite the Port Douglas Post Office.

While we'll be sad to say goodbye to what many have remarked as the best office views in town, the move makes us more accessible to the masses.

"We're delighted to be moving back into the heart of Port Douglas, and we hope to get plenty of visitors dropping to give us some news stories and taking advantage of our ridiculously low-priced classifieds," The Newsport Publisher, Roy Weavers, shamelessly plugged.

Our contact details will remain the same (check below), but as with any move there are always some teething problems so bear with us if we're tangled in our own phone lines which should be operational any time now.

We'll also be ducking in and out of the office over the next couple of days but should be nice and settled by early next week.

Thanks for your continued support, and we look forward to continuing to deliver you your independent news everyday.

Oh, if you're looking for our mates at tourismportdouglas.com.au and T-Media services, they've moved next door in Shop 5.
