After a winning start to the season against South Cairns, last Saturday's result  brought the Crocs back to earth with a reality check against Manunda Hawks. 

The Hawks got away to a flyer keeping the Crocs scoreless in the first term, and continued to dominate in the second quarter against an undermanned, and under sized Crocs team. But the Crocs persisted and in the second half were right back in the game.

One positive to come from the game for us was the resolve of our Crocs players to train even harder and sharpen our skills in order to be competitive against the better teams in the league. 

"With the inclusion of Captain Evan Hocking and Sam Boxall the Crocs line up will be bolstered up after last weeks loss to Manunda Hawks," said Crocs president Scott Ewert.

"New recruit Relton Roberts showed why he was drafted by Richmond with some dazzling skills at times, he will be definately better for the run."

Fortunately the Port Douglas Crocs Reserves continued on their winning way and provided a very entertaining spectacle in a hard fought match. 

Because of their persistent attack on the ball the boys got their noses in front early and stayed there.
