TA launches US campaign

 

Tourism Australia has launched its 'There's nothing like Australia' campaign in the US last Thursday to 100 trade partners.

 

Visiting Port Douglas recently, head of Tourism Australia, Andrew McEvoy, said their had been a positive approach to the campaign in other parts of the world including Asia and Europe.

 

The US campaign will continue the theme of inviting people who have been to Australia to share their favourite holiday experiences.   3,500 entries will be placed on the US version of the campaign website.

 

According to Tourism Australia, Americans will then be invited to vote for their favourite entry to win a trip "Downunder".

 

The campaign rollout includes TV, print and online media encouraging travellers to visit the website, as well as Aussie Specialist training and promotions.
