Little Crocs win the big one
Port Douglas Crocs Under 10's finished off their season in style against the Cairns Saints at a very wet grand final day at Cazaly's on Sunday.
The boys matched the bigger Saints in all areas, and their determination to get in and support each other was fantastic to see.
Billy Thompson played a great game in the muddy conditions winning the ball around the packs. Rory Nyko played in front and won a lot of the ball, and Jack Harrington showed lightening delivery by hand.
Tyson Lynch, Charlie Burns. and Brayden Wall were dangerous around goals as was Daniel Davidson who kicked the goal of the day from the boundary.
Reuben Allison and Ben Muia took strong over head marks in the wet conditions and got the ball out to Ryan Bourguignon who, as usual, gave his all.
Under 10's coach, Rod Davidson, was very proud of the boys efforts throughout the year and would like to thank Under 8's Scott Cooper and Casey West for filing in and helping the boys out during the season.
The Crocs' season finishes this Friday with their presentation night at the Port Douglas sporting complex, kicking off at 5.30pm.
Goal kickers in the Grand Final were Brayden 2, Daniel 2, Ryan 2, Charlie 1, Reuben 1.
