The Pink Flamingo in Davidson Street has been named one of Australia's best adult getaway locations by news.com.au.

Being a small resort and catering to a niche market also means that factors like the rising Aussie Dollar don't have as much impact on visitor numbers.

"The usual conditions like that don't affect us," Gigi said. "We're running about half and half when it comes to domestic and international travellers. We get lots of Europeans, Americans, and Australians."
