The 10/Under T-Birds played the MnM's last Tuesday at Port Courts. The MnM's played great netball leading 5 goals to 2 by half time with standout players for their side being Jaslyn Chesterfield and Sophie O'Gorman.

The T-Birds played a great defensive game but were not able to overtake the MnM's. Best players for the T-Birds were Cartier Bennett and Isabella Cattanach. In a high scoring match the final score was MnM's 12 defeated T-Birds 8.

The Crocs played the Dolphins, and it was the fancied Crocs who put in a strong effort. Nicky Samson was named player's choice and Aleesha Viola best and fairest for the Crocs.

The Dolphins scored their only goal in the last quarter but rallied well with Kyah Francis player's choice and Mia Devine-Cameron named best and fairest. Final scores were Crocs 7 goals defeated Dolphins 1.

The 10s/Under will be playing their final game next week on14 September at 3.45pm.

A 12/Under final was played between the Thunder and the Saints, with the winner gaining a spot in the Grand Final.

The Saints came out firing shooting 3 goals to nil in the first quarter, but the Thunder matched the Saints goal for goal thereafter but could not make up the 3 goals needed to overcome the Saints.

Elle Kadwell and Madison Malone both played brilliantly, and player's choice went to Saisha Shonenberger while Erin Kenna won the best and fairest.

The Saints held their lead with Marley Cairns shooting well for goal and Emma Stievano putting in a great game, but player's choice went to Simone Pringle and best and fairest was Yasmin Stievano.

Final scores saw the Saints 7 defeat the Thunder 4. The Saints will now play the Dragons at 5.20pm next Tuesday in the Grand Final.

The 12-16/Under finals started this week with the Red Team playing the Black Team. The Reds played a dominant game shooting 4 goals to 1 in the first period as the Ryan sisters, Zara and Lauren played great netball.

For the Blacks, Natalie Littler and Brittany Bowen both put in great games. The Reds came away with the win 10 goals to 6, with player's choice for Red being Hazuki Kirby and Esther Nulty for Black.

Best and fairest awards went to the Red's Maddy Weaver and for Black, Karly Brady. The Green Team played the Blue Team after being beaten convincingly in the first third with Blue shooting 4 goals to 1.

The Greens came back strongly to shoot 3 to 1 in the second stanza. Great play by Liana Pellegrinet and Angela Pringle kept the Blue team on the attack. The Green Team, with Brydie Short great in defence and Georgia Duncan putting her Thursday training into practice, just ran out of time to clinch the win.

Final scores were Blue 6 defeated Green 5, with player's choice for Blue being Jade Harold, and for Green Jane Gwilliams. Best and fairest for Blue went to Eleisha Mealing, while Rae Page took the honours for Green.

The Red team will play in the Grand Final against the Blue Team, while the Green and Black Team will play off for third and fourth position. Both games will begin at 4.30pm.

Please note the time change to the finals next week. The older teams 12-16/Under are playing at 4.30 and the 12s/Under at 5.20. This is to give the older girls a rest before their respective Grand Finals in the Senior competition.

The presentation day will be held on 9 October at 3pm, and we will advise the venue closer to the date.  This will be a fun and family day so all players receive trophies and/or participation awards.
