You're never too young for Cricket
The Milo in2cricket Have-A-Go kids programme is back up and running at Mossman Primary School conducted every Wednesday arvo at 4pm.
The introduction program and activities are designed to be used as a pre-competition for 4-9 year old boys & girls. The activities incorporate high participation with skill development and modified games to provide a safe learning environment and fun experience for all involved. Parents are encouraged to attend and participate to take the learning experiences home to play and practice with their child.
Vice President of the Douglas Cricket Club, Steve Doble said "This is a great way to introduce youngsters to the game of cricket. There's no pressure, the emphasis is on fun for both the kids and the parents!"
Muddies senior team captain, Nathan King was delighted that the kids are coming into the club, "The strength of any succesful club is always based on its youngsters.
Just this week we have a junior making his senior debut for the club, which is very exciting. We look forward to these Milo kids coming through the ranks to join us in the future."
