The organisers of the Port Douglas Magazine Awards are delighted to announce that there are now an additional 15 tickets available for tonights gala Awards evening.

Editor Roy Weavers, said "I'm thrilled that the numbers, after talks with our catering partners, Port Douglas Catering & Events, have been allowed to be increased.  When we first announced the evening, being our first year, we thought we would be capping the numbers at about 60 attendees, but we've had an overwhelming response from the award nominees, so with a some careful planning, we will be extending the final count to about 80 guests".

Managing Director Sam Cullen said "Port Douglas Catering and Events have organised a great menu for the evening, The Port Douglas Court House are a fantastic supporter for the event and The Port Douglas Wine Company will be launching their Heritage series on the night.  According to our ticket sales a huge majority of the award finalists will be in attendance.  So all the ingredients are in place for a great night, we can't wait "

Kim Hurley has kindly agreed to MC the evening, with special guest award presenters for each category, two special awards planned including the Port Douglas Magazine Hall of Fame award and The Gusman performing live, this will be a night to remember.
