The Douglas Junior Netball held its presentation day last Saturday at Plantation Resort.  The day started with frozen poppas, lollies, chips, drinks and a swim in the pool before it was down to business and the presentation of the awards. 

All Under 8 and Under 10 players received trophies for their efforts during the year, while Under 12 players received participation medals. The Saints received their well earned Grand Final trophies and the Dragons players graciously received their runners up awards. 

In the Intermediate competition the Red Team received their grand final winners medals and the Blue Team received runners up medals. All Under 14 players received participation medals.

The President of Douglas Junior Netball, Coral Deen, presented Rhiannon Schreiber-Blattner with the Dee Kearney "Strive for Excellence Award" for her outstanding achievement in making the Marlin Coast Academy. Her self discipline in training and commitment to Douglas Netball has been invaluable. Congratulations Rhiannon!
