Shark Surfing on the Great Barrier Reef

What an experience for Port Douglas local 'Sharky' Shane Down when he spotted a sperm whale carcass floating in the Great Barrier Reef off Port Douglas.

Sperm whales don't inhabit our waters so this carcass must have travelled a long way. The carcass had attracted the attention of massive Tiger and Bull Sharks. As his name suggests 'Sharky' is a keen lover of sharks and didn't hesitate to get in the water to take this amazing footage of the sharks gorging themselves on the carcass.  As you can see the sharks also found 'Sharky' pretty interesting too.
